Free email receiving
The service only receives and forwards email; it does not support outgoing email.
These terms define your license to use TempGreen, how long the service lasts, and the limits of our responsibility. By using a temporary inbox or forwarding service, you agree to follow these rules.
The service only receives and forwards email; it does not support outgoing email.
Temporary addresses expire and are not suitable as a permanent recovery method for important accounts.
Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, bypassing access controls, or disrupting third-party systems.
We may limit unusual requests or suspend features for security, capacity, and lawful operation.
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. We provide a general-purpose email receiving tool and do not guarantee that it is suitable for any particular use merely because it is accessible.
TempGreen provides registration-free temporary inboxes, plus forwarding aliases and 30-day email archives that you can manage after signing in. The service can only receive or forward email; it cannot send email on your behalf.
Temporary email addresses are valid for 3 hours by default and may be extended, but never beyond 24 hours after creation. Forwarding aliases remain active until paused or deleted. Actual delivery still depends on the sender, the network, and your real email provider.
The forwarding dashboard uses verification codes sent to your real email for sign-in, and creates an account automatically after a new email is verified. You must maintain lawful access to the sign-in email and protect your browser sessions and any optional 2FA key.
Do not request, intercept, or use someone else’s verification code. If you discover unauthorized access, sign out of other sessions, secure your real email, and contact support.
Each account can create up to 100 forwarding aliases. Prefixes must follow the page instructions and cannot use reserved names. Addresses are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and grant no trademark, brand, or permanent ownership rights.
When an alias is paused, new incoming mail is discarded. After deletion, the address can no longer receive email. You are responsible for updating the address linked to important services before taking either action.
Temporary inboxes do not retain attachments, and messages larger than 100 MB are rejected. Forwarded messages up to 50 MB can be delivered with attachments retained in the archive. Messages over 50 MB and up to 100 MB are still forwarded, but their attachments are not archived.
Forwarded messages over 100 MB are also rejected. Sender formatting, malware scanning, network failures, and email-provider restrictions may affect delivery.
| Feature | Retention / limits | Your responsibility |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary inbox | 3–24 hours; attachments not retained | Save anything you need before expiration |
| Forwarding archive | Shown to users for 30 days | Export anything you need to keep long term |
| Alias attachments | ≤50 MB retained in archive; 50–100 MB forwarded only | Check your real inbox to confirm attachment delivery |
| All email | Messages over 100 MB rejected | Choose another suitable transfer method |
You may use the service for lawful testing, privacy separation, and ordinary communication management. You must obtain authorization before testing third-party systems and follow their terms and access rules.
Do not use the service to create fake accounts, evade law enforcement, infringe intellectual property, or collect anyone else’s credentials. The technical ability to receive an email does not mean that doing so is permitted.
We may protect the service with rate limits, spam classification, and unusual-activity detection. If your use threatens our systems, other users, or third parties, we may limit requests, pause aliases, or terminate access.
When feasible and when doing so does not increase risk, we will provide an error message or an appeal channel. We do not guarantee advance notice for serious, obvious, or legally required abuse action.
TempGreen’s brand, interface, code, and original content are protected by applicable law. These terms grant only a limited, revocable license to use the service for personal or internal business purposes.
Rights in email content generally belong to the sender, recipient, or other relevant rights holder. Using the service does not transfer ownership of that content to TempGreen.
Email delivery depends on the sender’s systems, networks, infrastructure, and your own email provider. Third parties may reject temporary domains, delay delivery, or apply their own spam policies.
We do not control third-party websites’ signup decisions, content, or availability. Handle third-party service limitations through the provider’s support channels.
We work to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery without delay, or delivery of every message. Maintenance, security incidents, capacity constraints, and legal requirements may cause temporary limitations.
We may change the interface, quotas, or technical implementation, while aiming to keep the core retention periods stated on this page clear. Material changes to these terms will update the effective date.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of suitability for a particular purpose, continuous availability, or acceptance of an address by third parties.
Do not rely on temporary email to store irreplaceable information. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss, or harm caused by third-party delivery decisions.
You may stop using a temporary inbox or pause or delete aliases from the dashboard, then sign out. We may terminate access for violations of these terms, security risks, or service closure. Obligations that must survive by law are unaffected by termination.
Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith communication. For questions about these terms, enforcement, or your account, contact support@tempgreen.com and include the relevant timestamps and error details.
