Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information TempGreen processes when providing disposable inboxes and email forwarding, why we process it, how long we keep it, and how you can request access or deletion.
Forwarding has limits
Forwarded email archives are shown to logged-in users for 30 days. We do not use email content to build advertising profiles.
Only what we need to operate
We process addresses, emails, and necessary logs for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

1. Scope and data controller
This policy applies to the public disposable email, forwarding alias, login console, and support communications available at tempgreen.com. TempGreen determines the purposes and methods of processing needed to provide these features.
Third-party senders, your regular email provider, and websites you access through email each process information under their own policies. We cannot control these independent services and do not present their promises as guarantees of this service.
2. Information we process
Disposable email may involve random addresses, access tokens, creation and expiration times, email envelope data, and message bodies. Temporary attachments are not retained, and messages larger than 100MB are rejected by the server.
The forwarding service processes your login email, verification-code login status, aliases, forwarding results, email archives, and optional 2FA status. Necessary security logs may include the time, request result, browser information, and network address.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process information to create inboxes, receive and display email, forward messages, authenticate accounts, maintain archives, and respond to support requests. This processing is necessary to provide services you request.
We also process limited logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping systems reliable and preventing abuse. We do not sell email content or read message bodies to build advertising interest profiles.
4. Data retention
Different types of data have separate, purpose-based lifetimes rather than being covered by one vague “as long as necessary” period. Expiration, deletion, or account actions may trigger earlier removal, while backups and security logs may be rotated out on restricted schedules.

5. Sharing and processors
To provide hosting, email delivery, abuse prevention, and infrastructure operations, we may allow contracted technical processors to access the minimum information needed to complete their tasks. Processors may not use this information for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.
We may disclose necessary records when required by law, to protect user safety, or to investigate serious abuse. We review the scope of requests and, where legally permitted, limit excessive disclosure.
6. International transfers
Internet email and hosting infrastructure may result in information being processed outside your region. Data protection standards differ between regions, so cross-border processing does not mean information always stays local.
We reduce risk through contractual restrictions, access controls, and data minimization. Where applicable law requires additional transfer mechanisms, we use appropriate safeguards.
7. Security measures and limits
We use encryption in transit, access controls, token isolation, and optional two-step verification to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. Security measures evolve continuously, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Disposable inboxes rely on access tokens, so anyone with the link may be able to access the inbox. Do not use one for financial, medical, work-confidential, or other information you cannot afford to expose.
8. Cookies and local storage
This site uses browser local storage to save temporary email recovery tokens, forwarding login sessions, and necessary interface state. This lets you restore an inbox after refreshing or remain logged in.
We do not write advertising-tracking code or build cross-site profiles from email bodies. The deployment environment may provide basic access logs, used only for operations, security, and troubleshooting.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information processing, or object to it. You may also request a portable copy. Some requests may be reasonably limited for security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.
Send requests to support@tempgreen.com and explain which feature and account email are involved. To prevent others from claiming your data, we may ask you to verify your identity from the relevant email address.
10. Automation and abuse prevention
Our systems may automatically assess request frequency, spam indicators, or apparent abuse to protect delivery and infrastructure. These mechanisms mainly affect sending, forwarding, or access frequency and are not used to make significant decisions about individuals, such as credit or employment decisions.
If you believe normal use was restricted by mistake, contact support with the time and error details. We will review the matter without exposing abuse-prevention mechanisms.
11. Children
TempGreen is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect age information. Users below the local digital-services age of consent should use the service with guidance from a parent or guardian.
If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information to us, they can contact support to request an investigation and deletion. We will take reasonable steps to address identifiable records.
12. Changes and contact
When our features, legal requirements, or security practices materially change, we will update the effective date on this page and explain important changes where appropriate. Review the latest version before continuing to use the service.
